Please be aware that this is an informational announcement provided to our customers as a proactive courtesy. Action on your part may not be required in all cases. Below are the details of this announcement:

What: In the interest of increasing security and current best practices, Cisco will disable TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols on the Safe Unsubscribe web service.
Expected Impact: This change will be transparent for end users on modern / updated web browsers as higher security protocols are supported. Please report to Cisco TAC if any anomalies with the Safe Unsubscribe service are observed.
Recommendations: TLS 1.2 will effectively become the default, with browsers and applications being encouraged to add support for TLS 1.3 as soon as possible. If end users encounter errors such as “This site can’t provide a secure connection” or “Secure Connection Failed” when clicking on Safe Unsubscribe links, that indicates that their browsers do not support TLS 1.2. Cisco recommends upgrading the browser to a version that supports TLS 1.2 or turn on TLS 1.2 in browser settings.
